PACE student named 2016 Employee of the Year for St. Johns County

Lisa Brown, a student enrolled in the Master of Public Administration program in the School of Professional and Career Education (PACE), was recently named the 2016 Employee of the Year for St. Johns County. Brown, who is part of the St. Johns cohort and takes classes at PACE’s Jacksonville site, works in St. Johns County’s Growth Management Department.

“To me, the recipe for success in my accomplishments can be summarized in four key words: support, guidance, persistence and dedication. Every accomplishment in life relates back to those four words,” said Brown.

While pursuing her master’s, Brown is dedicated to her job in public service for St. Johns County, which has more than 1,000 employees.
