Speech in an Inclusive Community: Discerning Fake News and Alternative Facts in Politics Today

Members of the Barry University community are invited to share with each other their experiences and understanding of speech – their own and others’ – as members of a campus community that is committed to practices of inclusion. How ought speech and attending to the voices of others to be practiced within an inclusive community? The session will focus on Discerning Fake News and Alternative Facts in Politics Today.

This informal opportunity to discuss how Barry enacts its mission is hosted by the Mission Integration Council and will be facilitated by Dr. Sean Foreman and Dr. Nickesia Gordon.
