Testing of the Alertus Mass Notification System

On March 28, Public Safety will test the university’s Alertus Mass Notification System. Testing will hit every Barry computer, Barry telephone, loud speakers in the library, cell phone, email address and home phone registered with Barry (employee and student). Testing will occur statewide.

Testing will include all types of notifications, including: “test mode,” “all clear mode,” “shelter in place mode” and an “evacuate the campus mode.” Testing will take place throughout the day during normal business hours.
