Barry University School of Social Work alumna Dr. Tania Paredes (’00), LCSW, was named April’s Fellow of the Month by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). Paredes, a licensed clinical social worker, earned her Master of Social Work from Barry and recently defended her dissertation with success.
Paredes is a well-respected relationship and couples therapist. She holds a Diplomate in Clinical Social Work — the highest level of expertise and excellence — and was awarded a White House Fellowship by the Department of Health and Human Services.
