MIAMI SHORES, Fla.— The NCAA Spring Sports Championship show airs on Sunday, June 19 at 4:00 pm on your local CBS affiliate.
The show will feature dozens of NCAA student-athletes as they follow their dreams in rowing, lacrosse, water polo, tennis, outdoor track and field and baseball. Four Barry University team will receive exposure as men’s tennis, women’s tennis, men’s golf, and rowing qualified for the NCAA Championships.
In addition, two feature stories on the Buccaneers will be presented: one on the 2011 NCAA DII Champion Buccaneer women’s tennis team, and a second on men’s tennis player Marco Mokrzycki.
CBS Sports has aired 26 seasonal shows from the three NCAA championship seasons (fall, winter, spring) over the last nine years. The June 19th show is the 27th edition of CBS Sports Presents Championships of the NCAA. Each seasonal show features highlights and unique NCAA student-athlete stories from a variety of NCAA Division I, II and III championships.
