Daniel Stapff, a senior from Curitiba, Brazil, was named the Sunshine State Conference Men's Golfer of the Week.

Stapff shot an impressive 9-under-par 207 (68-69-70) to claim the medalist honors at the St. Edward's Invitational in Austin, Texas, last Monday and Tuesday. He was the only golfer in the 90-player field to turn in three sub-par rounds.

The win was the fourth of Stapff's career, and set a new school record for career victories. His efforts helped the Buccaneers finish second at the 17-team tournament.

Barry is ranked No. 3 in the Nike/World Golf Coaches national Division II poll. The Bucs are competing again this week at the Valdosta State University Southeastern Collegiate in Valdosta, Ga.
