MIAMI SHORES, Fla.--The baseball and softball contests between Barry and Lynn scheduled for Saturday, April 21 have been rained out. The teams will attempt to reschedule the games for Sunday, April 22.
Baseball will attempt to play a doubleheader on Sunday starting at noon at the McCusker Sports Complex at Lynn. The Bucs dropped the first game of the series 5-1 on Friday.
Softball, which attempted to move the doubleheader up to Friday, was halted in the third inning of the second game leading 6-0. The Bucs took game one 3-0. The halted game is scheduled to resume on Sunday at 1:00 pm with the final game to follow. Barry seven softball seniors will be honored at a ceremony in between the games.
