MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- Barry University junior softball player Sarah Broeseker was named to the College Sports Information Director's Association of America Capital One Academic All-District Team.
Broeseker, a third baseman from Palm Harbor, Fla., has a 3.63 grade point average in biology/pre-med in Barry's honor's program.
This season, she is batting .337 with a team-high four home runs while driving in 28 runs. Broeseker has 14 doubles, 55 hits and has scored 29 runs. She has a team-best .497 slugging percentage.
Broeseker is now eligible for the CoSIDA Academic All-American honor to be announced May 23.
