Barry University to Honor Leaders in Government, Education, Politics and Industry with Distinguished Alumni Awards

 

(Miami, FL) On Thursday, February 13, 2020 Barry University will honor the accomplishments of distinguished alumni who are leaders in their field and the community. These Barry graduates embody the university’s mission of transforming the world in a meaningful way and its core commitments to seeking knowledge and truth, fostering an inclusive community, pursuing social justice, and making service a way of life.

 

NBC 6 anchor and reporter Keith Jones, a Barry alumnus, will emcee the ceremony, which will feature remarks by Barry University President Dr. Mike Allen.

 

The 2020 recipients of the Distinguished Alumni Award are:

Jennifer Boyd-Pugh, BS '94, MS '01: Vice President for University Administration - Barry University

The 2020 recipients of the Distinguished Alumni Rising Star are:

The event will be held at the Shepard & Ruth K. Broad Performing Arts Center on the Barry University Campus: 11300 NE 2nd Avenue, Miami Shores, FL 33161
