Nuclear Medicine

A Nuclear Medicine Technologist is an allied health professional trained to conduct procedures in which radioactive drugs are used to diagnose and treat medical problems.

As a nuclear medicine technologist, you will aid in the diagnostic process by producing images or information on the function and structure of the patient's body organs through the use of radioactive drugs. In addition to administrative responsibilities, you will work with patients and conduct laboratory studies. You may also be involved in research.
