Homecoming

The Division of Nursing celebrated its 50th anniversary during Homecoming with a reception and trip down memory lane. Alumni from many of the first nursing graduating classes, current students, faculty, and community members attended. An exhibition was prepared which included posters with a pictorial history, photo albums, equipment, textbooks, and other mementos from years gone by.

The highlight of the event was seeing current nursing students dressed in the original uniforms of the Division of Nursing. Their polished shoes, stockings, smocks, and nurses' caps reminded us of an era of nursing attire.
