Sande Gracia Jones , Ph.D., ARNP, CS, ACRN; Barry University Division of Nursing's first doctoral graduate, will be inducted as a Fellow into the American Academy of Nursing at the Academy meeting in November, 2003.

Francis Turbert , Jennifer Gibson , Suzanne Woodbery and Michael Roe were the recipients of the Dean's Award presented at Barry University's Honors Convocation in May, 2003. These graduates were recognized for their academic achievement. They represent the RN to BSN Option, Basic Option, and Accelerated Option, respectively.

Debbie Nogueras (right), outgoing Treasurer, Lambda Chi Chapter, Sigma Theta Tau International with Kathy Sparger '88, MSN '91; Vice President of Patient Services and Chief Nursing Officer, South Miami Hospital, who was inducted into the chapter as a community leader. The April ceremony inducted 60 nurses into the chapter.
