PROSPECTIVE UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS

Barry University is deeply committed to a supportive and caring learning environment. Academic advising is essential to fulfilling that commitment. Prospective students have different opportunities to learn about the University and the School of Nursing. Group sessions are held throughout the academic year to answer questions and discuss individual needs. After admission to the School of Nursing, students are assigned an advisor to support their academic success and their personal and professional satisfaction with the educational experience.

The following information sessions are available for any BSN Basic Option, 2 YR Transfer Option, and BSN Accelerated Option prospective students:

Program Information Sessions: Call 305-899-3800 or 800-756-6000, or e-mail the School of Nursing at undergradnursing@mail.barry.edu with your name, address, and phone number. We will confirm the date of our next session. All sessions are held in the Wiegand Building of the School of Nursing. The room will be posted.  Free parking is available in the lot on the west side of North Miami Avenue between NE 111th and 115th Streets. Additional parking is available on the south side of 115th Street.
