NUR 641 Differential Diagnosis for the Family Nurse Practitioner

Barry University is pleased to offer two online, self-paced, three credit hour courses to Family Nurse Practitioners (FNP). These courses are designed to meet the requirements for FNPs who intend to work autonomously under the Florida State Bill HB 607.

As of July 1, 2020, in accordance with the Florida Department of Health, Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners must complete the three-hour Advanced Pharmacology and three-hour Differential Diagnosis for the Family Nurse Practitioner courses to qualify for autonomous licensure.

The content of these courses is designed to build upon previously acquired knowledge and skills of advanced pharmacology and differential diagnosis competencies common to advanced practice roles.

Courses will be offered spring, summer, and fall semesters. Total cost for each course is $2,795.00, which covers tuition and technology fees. Financial aid is not available.
