RN with Non-Nursing BS/BA - Bridge Program
If you are a registered nurse with a bachelor's degree in a field other than nursing, and meet the necessary criteria, this program allows you to move more quickly into the Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program. Through this program, you will be prepared for the master’s program without needing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree.
Bridge Courses
If you are accepted into the bridge program, you may be required to complete two undergraduate courses prior to taking the graduate courses. The two courses are:
- NUR 337 – Nursing Research (if your bachelor’s degree did not include this course)
- NUR 483 – Health Assessment
Upon successful completion of those courses, you will be able to move smoothly into the MSN program.
