Graduate Housing Information (2006-2007)
In an effort to accommodate all of our programs, full-time, degree-seeking graduate students
will be eligible to live in Residential Life administered housing for the 2006-2007 academic
year. Graduate students who apply for housing will be offered a space at the Best Western
Inn-on the-Bay, a local hotel at which we have accommodated students for several years.
Please be aware of the following when applying for graduate housing:
- Barry University does not offer married and/or family housing; all units are for students
only. All spaces being offered to graduate students are private rooms with private
baths, and have no meal plan attached; the cost is $4925.00 per semester.
- Barry University does not provide transportation service to or from the hotel site, which
is located 5.2 miles from the university.
- Hotel assignments are for first-year graduate students only, and are not renewable after
May 2007. Graduate students may apply to reside in a residence hall for summer 2007
prior to moving off-campus for the remainder of their tenure at Barry.
- There is a variety of meal plans available for purchase for those students who wish to
utilize the dining hall. Information may be obtained in the ID Office in the Landon
Student Union, 1st Floor.
- A $500.00 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a space.
- Applications for hotel housing will be processed only for those students who have been
accepted into an academic program.
