Tennille Decoste
Master's in Human Resource Development and Administration, May, 2009
CONGRATULATIONS! Ms. Tennille Decoste recently received a promotion to the position of Labor Management Specialist in the Labor Management and Employee Appeals Division of Miami-Dade County which oversees and negotiates ten union contracts and employee appeals for twenty three departments.
Ms. Decoste is responsible for assisting in the negotiation and administration of a variety of complex collective bargaining agreements between the County and various public employee unions and associations. She advises County officials on contract language interpretations and contract administration matters. Ms. Decoste chairs employee appeals for discipline, evaluations, classifications and disability, and confers with the County Attorney’s office on grievances and arbitrations.
