Dr. Christine King is an Associate Professor and Coordinator of Barry University's MS Program in Organizational Learning and Leadership on the Treasure Coast. She has been teaching with Barry for over twelve years, frequently being nominated by her students for the University's Apple Award given to outstanding teachers on the Barry University Faculty. In addition to her first love which is teaching and working with Barry students, she is passionate about her specialty, virtual trust. She has written many articles on the subject which have been published in scholarly journals and trade magazines. She has also developed training programs for building virtual trust. In 2000, she developed the first graduate course to be offered in the US on Global Virtual Teams.
Dr. King has lived and worked for over twenty years in England, Spain, Germany, Japan and South Korea and has consulted with global organizations, including, General Electric, Hewlett/ Packard, Johnson and Johnson, US Postal Service, Shell Oil, BASF, Texaco, Westinghouse, Lockheed Martin, and AT&T.
With extensive experience as a keynote speaker to large audiences, Dr. King speaks on a regular basis to national and international groups, including the Society for Human Resource Management, the International Human Resource Institute and the Academy for Human Resource Development.
