Dr. Katya Matusevich is an Assistant Professor in the Organizational Learning and Leadership graduate program. She is a human and organization development scholar-practitioner and consultant.

Her mission is to improve individual and organizational performance through science-based interventions. Dr. Matusevich’s research interests include exploring the associations between organizational contexts and employee well-being and between employee well-being and both individual and organizational performance. Her most recent focus has been on social-cognitive and affective neuroscience and its relation to and application in the domains of organizational leadership and human resource development.

In her role as an organizational consultant, Dr. Matusevich focuses on improving communication in business settings and specializes in helping people develop effective presentation and public speaking skills. She has provided training, coaching, and consulting services in the areas of leadership and management development, organization development, and communication to a number of national industry-leading companies in healthcare, homebuilding, and financial services. She holds membership in a number of professional organizations, including the NeuroLeadership Institute, Florida Speakers Association, Academy of Human Resource Development, and the Association for Talent Development.
