Melissa Houston is originally from Minnesota. She obtained her Associate of Arts degree while in high school, as a post-secondary enrollment option student at Fergus Falls Community College. She obtained a dual Bachelors’ Degree in Social Work and Sociology from St. Cloud State University. She relocated to Florida and completed a Master’s of Science in Public Administration and then another in Human Resource Management from DeVry University. Melissa has been teaching in post- secondary education at several colleges. She has been an advisory board member for several local colleges and has developed curriculum and worked on accreditation for many schools. She has been a student herself on-campus and for online courses; she also teaches both types of classes, and has 6 years experience teaching in an online environment. Melissa is currently completing her Doctorate in Business Administration at Northcentral University online with a concentration in Human Resources. She currently works as an Academic Advisor, Recruiter, and Instructor at PACE teaching Administration and Public Administration courses.
