Program and Purpose

Barry University is approved by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection to offer non-credit continuing education training courses for the Water and Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator Level ‘C’.

As of May 1, 2011, licensure for Water Distribution System Operators became mandatory. To qualify for licensure, an applicant must meet minimum educational and work experience requirements for each class of license. A passing score is required on the exam for the type and level license desired.

For license requirements and qualifications, please visit the Department of Environmental Protection: www.dep.state.fl.us/water/wff/ocp
