The Clinical Biology program would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the Barry University community for its generosity.
Through your kindness, more than 150 winter clothing items were collected to help warm hands, feet, hearts, and souls.
The three week event facilitated by Sumera Ackbarali and supported by the Clinical Biology Department – Henley Marcelus and Daniel Packert – donated these warm clothes to the needy. Items were delivered at the Miami Rescue Mission to support underprivileged men, women and children in the Miami area who were a little warmer this winter.
This is the second year the Clinical Biology program has participated in the Share the Warmth Clothing Drive.
