Barry University has been named among the 2016-2017 Catholic Colleges of Distinction. Out of the current 195 U.S. members of the Association of Catholic Colleges and Universities, (ACCU), 76 have been recognized as Colleges of Distinction for 2016-2017. Barry is one of two schools in Florida to receive the distinction.
Colleges of Distinction, an online resource for students and parents searching for the right college or university, recognizes higher education institutions based on several factors, including school curriculum and core competencies; out-of-classroom learning and study abroad programs; retention; four-year graduation rates; class size; and faculty-to-student ratios.
