Switch It Off is an energy saving competition among first year students living in Weber, Sage, Browne, and Dalton & Dunspaugh. The purpose is to increase environmental awareness among students and decrease the amount of electricity used in the residence halls.
The Switch It Off kickoff event takes each year in the spring semester and the final results are announced during Earth Justice Month at the earth day celebration. For the Switch it Off energy saving competition, students from the winning residence hall will receive a $10 gift card.
Switch It Off is a collaboration between Student Government Association, Mission Engagement, Residence Life, and Facilities.
