FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 23
Welcome Back Party: Join the Barry University Alumni Association, faculty, staff and other Reunion attendees for a fun kickoff party at Shuckers Waterfront Bar & Grill, featuring food, drinks, and live music from DJ Revolt and the Synergy Twins.
SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 24
Bucky Fest BBQ & BucKids Fun Zone: Enjoy a barbecue lunch and fun for the whole family! Bucky Fest will include entertainment (don’t miss the popular Battle of the DJs (DJ Revolt vs. DJ-Psi-co), games, and a fun zone for the littlest Buccaneers. Also, join us for a special Bucky Fest “after party” featuring a special performance by the Synergy Twins.
Also if you a Barry legacy (i.e. an alum that’s related to another alum or a current student) make plans to come to BuckyFest on Saturday and visit our Legacy tent for more details on our new Legacy Family program and a chance to win a special prize! Before you come, please send us an email with your name and graduation year, and that of your legacy family member(s), and also include relevant photos that we can display for all to see!
Coach Cesar Odio Court Naming Ceremony: The gym floor in the Health & Sports Center will be officially named the "Coach Cesar Odio Court" in honor of the longtime former head men’s basketball coach. The ceremony will take place between the women's and men's varsity basketball games, which are scheduled for 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM against the University of Tampa.
SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 25
Reunion Mass and Golden Shield Champagne Brunch: To close out the weekend’s festivities, join us for a special Reunion Mass in the Cor Jesu Chapel. After mass, you also have the option to join us as we celebrate all 50+ year graduates of Barry University during the Golden Shield Brunch and Induction Ceremony. This year we welcome members of the Class of 1968, however any 50+ year graduate is eligible for induction into the Golden Shield Society.
