Brian Walton, vice president and associate dean at St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital, recently visited Barry University and spoke to faculty and students from the Departments of Biology and Physical Sciences.
Walton’s presentation covered the new doctorate program at one of the world’s premier research and treatment centers for pediatric cancer and childhood disease. He discussed St. Jude’s unique history and mission of providing care for the sickest of children at no cost to the family. Walton also discussed several areas of faculty-student research and the stipend, housing and fringe benefits available to students.
