Physics Minor (Non-Degree
Program)
The Physics minor is designed for chemistry majors,
mathematics and computer science majors, pre-engineering students,
and others with the appropriate mathematics background.
- The physics minor requires the following
20 credits:
College Physics I PHY 201 (3), 201L (1) 4
College Physics II PHY 202 (3), 202L (1) 4
or
University Physics I PHY 211 (3), 211L (1) 4
University Physics II PHY 212 (3), 212L (1) 4
(University Physics is preferred.)
- PHY Electives above 300 (excluding PHY
300) 12
Please note that chemistry majors electing to
minor in physics may not count physical chemistry as credit toward
both the major and the minor. |
