A new client in Florida has just opened up a search with us for either a nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join a small, successful neurosurgery practice. The practice is owned by an experienced neurosurgeon and has sustained rapid growth since he opened the practice 3 years ago. With well over 5000 patient charts, he is looking to add to his current staff for the long term. He is willing to train a provider as needed and will consider new grads, experienced neurosurgery NPs or PAs, or candidates with NP/PA experience who have a passion to move into surgery. The doctor’s focus is with spine surgeries and procedures. Having worked for a hospital before opening his own practice, he is well-equipped to train someone who wants to learn. He is described as easygoing and great to work with, and the practice is looking for someone who wants to settle down with them and become part of this “practice family.” There are 2 MAs as part of the staff who support both the MD and the new NP/PA with patient care. The remaining staff are supportive and work well together. Salary will be competitive and based on experience.
The doctor spends 2 days in the OR and 1 day at each of the 3 sites. The NP/PA will work along with the physician at the same sites and can assist in the OR. Working as first assist is the candidate’s choice and the doctor will train accordingly.
This is a great opportunity to join a successful neurosurgeon and benefit from his mentorship. Opportunities like this are rare, so please contact me ASAP if you are interested in hearing more about this position. Feel free to forward this e-mail to anyone you know who may be interested.
Have a good day and I hope to hear from you shortly,

Orlando is one of the world's fastest-growing cities. It is among Florida's major cities and is a center for digital media and bio medicine. The City has the 9th busiest airport in the U.S. and is warm and sunny all year round. Comfortable year round temperatures make the Orlando area a popular residential destination for many. The growth of the city in the last 35 years has prompted many new businesses and corporations to make Orlando their home, thus bringing in new jobs and better schools.
A world-renowned destination, Orlando is the place to make all of your dreams come true. Of course, it is beloved for its theme parks: Walt Disney World, Universal Studios Florida, SeaWorld Orlando and many others. But it also beckons with world-class resorts, shopping opportunities for every budget, all-season golf courses, and some of the most enticing dining opportunities on the planet. Less known but equally inviting are the downtown sections of Orlando itself and many nearby towns in Central Florida – places that celebrate public art and take pride in offering a myriad of cultural opportunities.
