Dr. Richard Fien graduated from University of Miami School of Medicine in 1976. He did his internship & residency in Internal Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine and Cardiology fellowship at Mt Sinai Medical Center. He is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Diseases. He later obtained a MPH from Florida International University in 2003. After 16 years in a medical practice, he joined the Barry University PA Program in 1999. He currently serves as the Director of Didactic Education and Chair of the Admissions Committee. He previously served as Medical Director & was the course director in Physical Diagnosis, Pathophysiology & Clinical Therapeutics. He is an Adjunct Professor in Public Health at FIU and has taught Public Health Ethics.
