Claire Lokitis is a native New Yorker, graduated from Touro College with a BS in Physician Assistant Studies in 1995, and earned her Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Education and Leadership through the A.T. Stills University at Arizona School of Health Science in 2004. While in NY, she worked in Intensive Care Units (Neonatal, Pediatric Cardiology), General Pediatrics, Family Practice and Interventional Radiology. In 2007, Claire accepted an Administrative/Clinical PA position at the University of Miami/Sylvester Cancer Care, providing targeted-organ chemotherapy and radiation through Interventional Procedures. While in Florida, she also practiced in Orthopedics.
In 2011, she joined Barry University Physician Assistant Program as the Operations Director for the launching of the newest distant campus in St. Croix, USVI. There she oversees the daily operation of the campus, lectures in Anatomy, Pathophysiology and Problem Based Learning courses, and serves as the Physical Diagnosis Lab Director. She is actively involved in community events with the St. Croix students.
She enjoys art, music, and the people of St. Croix.
