Fourth-year BUSPM student (soon to be Doctor) Sriya Babu was recently featured on the inaugural episode of “Step Into Podiatry,” a webinar series produced by the American Association of Colleges of Podiatric Medicine and the American Podiatric Medical Association. In addition to answering questions about the field of podiatry, she discussed her journey to becoming a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine. In May 2020, Doctor Babu will be heading to Long Island Jewish Forest Hills at Northwell Health for three years of residency. She was particularly pleased to match at this residency because, as she describes, “The program is well rounded, has great opportunities, and is growing constantly. They recently started 3D printing for ankle surgeries. Most of all, the environment was very welcoming.”
