Campus Access

Campus Access

With parts of the state moving toward reopening, we’d like to remind all faculty and staff that Barry University continues to heavily restrict access to all campuses, to protect community health and comply with safer at home orders that remain in effect.

Should you need to access main campus, please be sure to notify public safety in advance by emailing John Buhrmaster, Director of Public Safety and Emergency Management (jbuhrmaster@barry.edu).

For access to the Law School, please email Law School Dean Leticia Diaz (ldiaz@barry.edu) in advance of your visit.

In both locations face masks are required in all communal spaces and no guests are permitted. Please be sure to bring your Barry University ID when accessing campus.

Travel Reporting Requirements

Additionally, ahead of any summer travel please keep in mind reporting requirements the university has put in place during the pandemic. All planned international or domestic travel, including cruise ship travel, must be reported to Student Health Services (305-899-3750 or healthservices@barry.edu).

A two-week quarantine upon return may be required before accessing any Barry University campus or site.

As a reminder, members of the University community should NOT come to campus if experiencing any cold or flu-like symptoms including, but not limited to, fever, cough or shortness of breath.
