Liaison List and Responsibilities
Facilities Management Emergency Preparedness LiaisonsLiaison Responsibilities:
Liaisons will be asked to assist the Facilities Management Department to ensure the campus is ready in accordance with the Barry University Hurricane Plan. Specifically they will: Maintain and distribute the hurricane kit supplied by the Physical Plant. This kit will contain the plastic bags and tape to secure computers. Ensure staff in their assigned areas follow the Individual Responsibilities and Laboratory Preparations outlined in the "Plan At Work" section of the Hurricane Plan. Once completed the Liaisons will report completion to the Physical Plant at extension 3785. When a hurricane watch or warning is suspended and it is safe to return to work, liaisons will survey their areas and report any problems such a roof leaks or broken windows to the Physical Plant at extension 3785.
