The Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) Program in Counseling is CACREP-accredited and provides a specialization in marital, couple, and family counseling / therapy for students who hold a Master's degree in counseling or a related discipline from a regionally accredited college or university. The Program trains students for leadership positions in counseling and related fields.

Leadership and Education (Ph.D.) Specialization in Higher Ed Administration

This degree and specialization prepare you for leadership positions in education, specifically, the community college or university system, as well as government agencies or organizations closely related to higher education. Graduates are prepared to contribute to research, program evaluation, law, history of education, and the teaching/learning process.

Leadership and Education (Ph.D.) Specialization in Human Resource Development

This degree and specialization will prepare you to lead your organization to higher levels of quality and productivity. Develop the skills necessary to help people and organizations adapt to continuous change, increase the learning capacity of individuals, teams, and organizations to optimize growth and effectiveness, and enhance the relationships between people, learning, and organizations by using systematic change processes.
