Cardiovascular Perfusion (BS)

The perfusionist is a skilled practitioner who works closely with the other members of the open-heart team and whose primary role is to completely support the patient's life systems during cardiac surgery.

Clinical Biology (BS)

If you have an associate’s degree and certification as a medical laboratory technician, histotechnician, nuclear medicine technician, ultrasound technician or respiratory technician, you can advance your career as a health care professional by earning a bachelor’s degree in clinical biology.

Clinical Biology (BS) Medical Technology

Perform laboratory tests used for diagnosis and treatment of disease and maintenance of health. Includes the major disciplines of blood banking, chemistry, hematology, immunology and microbiology.

Clinical Biology (BS) Nuclear Medicine Technology

English (BA)

Prepare for careers or graduate study in a variety of areas. Barry English majors have taken positions in marketing and public relations firms as well as teaching in middle and high schools. Many have gone on to law school, MBA programs, and doctorates in English.

English (BA) Literature

The Literature track prepares you for a variety of career options through increasing your skills in written communication, critical and creative thinking, research, and analysis. Majors have gone on to careers in teaching, law, and business.

English (BA) Professional Writing

Study all forms of writing and prepare for a career in fields such as business, health care, law, desktop publishing, technical writing, editing, public relations, television and media, journalism, and advertising. Internships in the South Florida Metro area add to your educational experience.

Exceptional Student Education (BS) ESOL Endorsement

The BS degree program in Exceptional Student Education (ESE) provides a comprehensive background for education professionals who are interested in working and addressing the needs of children and youth with varying exceptionalities. This is a State Approved program that includes the English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) competencies, and which enables candidates to graduate with an ESOL endorsement in addition to their certification in ESE (grades K-12).

Management (BSBA)

Nursing (BS)

The baccalaureate in nursing (basic degree option and the RN to BSN option) lays a foundation for safe, compassionate, and multiculturally sensitive professional practice by preparing clinically competent professional registered nurses.

Nursing (BS) LPN to BSN Option

You must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to apply for admission to this option which allows you, if you meet the qualifications, to test out of some nursing coursework. Students can enroll on a full-time or part-time basis.

Nursing (BS) RN to BSN Option

If you graduated from a state-approved diploma or associate degree programs in nursing, you can apply for admission to this option. Classes are held in the afternoon and evening to accommodate the work schedules of registered nurses.

Nursing (BS) RN w/UG degree out of field

This unique program is designed for Registered Nurses (RN) who have a BS/BA in a field other than nursing. Coursework is identical to the RN to BSN option, but students may be exempted from some prerequisites.

Nursing (BS) Second Bachelor's Degree

This accelerated program is designed for students having a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a field other than nursing. Some of your previous coursework may apply to prerequisite course requirements.
