Patricia M. Feito, Associate Professor of English and Academic Coordinator for English at Barry University's School of Adult and Continuing Edcuation in Miami Shores, Florida, received her Ph.D. in English from the University of California, Irvine. She holds an A.M. in English Language and Literature from the University of Michigan and a B.A. from Florida International University. She has presented and published in the areas of British modernism, modernist poetry, and women’s fiction. Her interests include psychoanalytic theory, the female bildungsroman, nature writing and the intersections between nature and human representation. She created the university’s first course in Environmental Literature. She feels privileged to be teaching advanced writing and literature to a community of diverse adult learners throughout South Florida.
