Born in the United States, Dr. Sandra L. Roberts spent her formative years in Peru and attended the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme at the American School of Lima, Peru before moving to Florida. Dr. Roberts was a Senior International Advertising Executive and Latin American Photo-Journalist for many years subsequently earning a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies from Barry University. Dr. Roberts received her Ph.D. in Leadership from Barry University and is currently an Assistant Professor of Administration at Barry University in Miami, Florida.
Dr. Roberts’s research interests focus on International Leadership and Marketing; Critical Race Theory in Education; and Self-Efficacy.
Dr. Roberts serves as President of the Miami Shores Rotary Club; Co-Chair of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce - Leadership Americas Committee and the Education Committee; and is a founding member of Women in International Trade. She serves as the Advocacy and Public Policy Leader for the American Cancer Society’s Miami Dade division and has led groups to both Tallahassee, FL and Washington, DC speaking on behalf of the Cancer Action Network.
Dr. Roberts further serves as a program reviewer for the American Council on Education’s College Credit Recommendation Service.
