What You Can Do With This Degree

Whether your are planning or entering a doctoral program or seeking licensure as a Mental Health Counselor, Barry University's Master of Science in Clinical Psychology program will give you the skills and experience to help you achieve your goals.

Barry University’s Department of Psychology provides two options for completing the Master of Science in Clinical Psychology. Select your program option based upon your own goals.

  • The 36-credit option will prepare you for application to doctoral programs.
  • The 60-credit option will prepare you to sit for licensing as a Mental Health Counselor which will qualify you to engage in private practice and to seek employment with public or private mental health organizations, social service agencies, government and private research teams, and community colleges.
