Program Options
36-credit Option
Our 36-credit option is designed for students who wish to obtain a master’s degree in clinical psychology primarily in preparation for applying to doctoral programs in clinical psychology. It can be completed in two years of full-time study.
Once enrolled in the program you can elect to extend your program to the 60-credit option (see below) to meet the educational requirements for licensure as a mental health counselor in the state of Florida.
60-credit Option
Our 60-credit option is designed to meet the academic requirements for Florida State licensing as a Mental Health Counselor. This three-year program consists of two years of full-time coursework in the evenings and one year of a full-time clinical internship during the day.
Students complete 36 or 60 semester hours with a minimum grade point average of 3.0 (B) with no more than two Cs.
