Katherine M. Fuerth joined the Counseling Program in the Adrian Dominican School of Education as Assistant Professor in the Fall of 2008. Dr. Fuerth holds a B.A. in psychology, a M.A. in rehabilitation and mental health counseling, and a Ph.D. in counselor education and supervision from the University of South Florida. She is also a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida. Her professional interests include multicultural issues in counseling, education, and supervision, counseling and advocacy for survivors of sexual abuse and domestic violence, and issues of interpersonal relationships and communication. She has presented professional workshops at state and international conferences. As an author, Dr. Fuerth is known for her contributions to multicultural and social justice issues in counseling and therapy.
