Dr. Sharma joined the Counseling Department in the Adrian Dominican School of Education in 2011. Dr. Sharma holds a B.A. in psychology from DePaul University in Chicago Illinois, and a M.Ed. in the major of counseling from the University of Houston. Dr. Sharma obtained a Ph.D. in Counselor Education from Sam Houston State University. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Illinois. His professional interests include multicultural counseling in spirituality, development of techniques for clinical effectiveness in counseling utilizing existential psychotherapy, substance abuse counseling, and supervision.
