Success in graduate school requires more than passing exams and completing projects. Here are a few
suggestions:

• Be organized in your tasks. Work smart!
• Be professional in your work and in your personal presentation (i.e., attire, and attitude).
• Refrain from consistently grumbling about your workload. Get the job done and do it well.
• Control your emotions. Professors and your peers are constantly forming impressions of you.
• Form study groups.
