Student Recognition

Congratulations to Saima Hossain, a graduate student in the School Psychology Program, for receiving a certificate of merit from the American Psychological Association (APA) on her research on women in Bangladesh. Saima examined the impact of education, employment, financial control, & purdah (i.e., seclusion from male society) on the women’s perceptions of their role in Bangali society. Education & financial control were the top contributors to psychological well-being of these women.
