While being a health care professional
is not a requirement for admission, the Master of Public Health
(MPH) was designed with practicing health care professionals in mind.
Whether you are a nurse, physician, podiatrist,
dentist, administrator, or someone who wants to enter the public
health field and make a difference, obtaining your MPH may enhance
your career and help you reach your goals.
The MPH will expand your knowledge in five core
areas of public health: epidemiology, biostatistics, environmental
health sciences, health services and administration, and social
and behavioral sciences. Courses in biomedical ethics will also
assist you in making the difficult calls required in this field.
