Program Description

The Master of Public Health (MPH) is a 40 credit-hour program that you can complete in twenty months, attending class sessions every other weekend (Friday night and Saturday). The curriculum includes classroom instruction, computer-based assignments, and on-line courses.

After your first semester, you will begin research for a publishable paper or written special project in a personal area of interest related to public health. This will require registration for one credit of research (GMS 675) per semester (up to 4 credits total). You will also need to successfully complete a 15 credit-hour sponsored field experience prior to graduation. You will have the support of a faculty member in the planning and completion of your paper/special project and the field experience.
