Financial Aid - Cardiovascular Perfusion, BS

Merit Scholarships Now Available for Cardiovascular Perfusion Students

If you are pursuing your first bachelor's degree you are eligible for a Merit Scholarship valued between $500 to $6750 per semester if you reside on campus, and $500 to $5000 per semester if you commute to campus. The amount awarded is based on your cumulative grade point average (GPA) on previous college-level course work. This scholarship is renewable every semester of the program as long as you maintain a 3.0 GPA. Other federal, state, and institutional grants are available if you qualify.

If you are a second degree (bachelor or higher) student you are eligible for a Merit Scholarship valued at $3,000 per semester if your cumulative grade point average (GPA) in your last degree program is 3.0 or higher. This scholarship is renewable every semester of the program as long as you maintain a 3.0 GPA.

The CVP Merit Scholarship is administered by the Office of Financial Aid.

Applying for Financial Aid

There are several steps you must take when applying for financial aid. Apply as early as possible and follow the steps outlined below. Feel free to contact the Financial Aid Office at finaid@mail.barry.edu if you have any questions.

1. Apply for admission to Barry University.

2. Complete the current Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) as soon as possible. Be sure to list Barry University as one of the universities to receive the results of your FAFSA. The Institution Code for Barry is 001466.

3. If you are a permanent resident of Florida, submit the application for the Florida Resident Access Grant (FRAG) to the Financial Aid Office no later than the first day of the semester for which the grant is requested.

4. Some applicants may be selected for verification based on Federal Department of Education guidelines. Selected applicants will be requested to submit income tax returns, verification worksheets, and other supporting documentation. (Submit these items only if requested by the Financial Aid Office.)

5. If you are not a U.S. citizen or national, you may be required to submit a copy of your Alien Registration Card or documentation from the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service indicating your status in this country.
