Richard Perryman, MD, FRCS

Richard Perryman, MD, FRCS, provides the medical direction for the CVP Program. He received his medical degree at St. Mary's Hospital Medical School in London, England, and completed his residency and fellowship in thoracic and cardiovascular surgery at Duke University Medical Center and University of Florida Medical Center at Shands. He currently performs cardiothoracic surgery, specializing in pediatrics at Regional Memorial Hospital/DiMaggio Children's Hospital in Hollywood, Florida. Dr. Perryman provides input into program development and implementation, participation of classroom and clinical instruction, and guidance and administrative counseling to the program director and faculty regarding affairs pertinent to the program.
