Lysa Shocket earned her credentials in occupational therapy in Boston, Massachusetts. She is a certified hand therapist, and has 20 years of clinical and consultative experience in the areas of hand injury and sports medicine. Ms. Shocket has presented more than 25 lectures and workshops on splinting and injury prevention to professionals in three states. She taught in the occupational therapy program at Seton Hall University in New Jersey, prior to her appointment as Academic Fieldwork Coordinator at Barry University.
