Minority Biomedical Research Support, Support Of Continuous Research Excellence (MBRS SCORE)

Faculty in biology and chemistry receive financial assistance to carry out biomedical research on campus. Faculty receive release time, equipment, and supplies, and travel to scientific meetings and biotechnology workshops. The grant also supports research assistants / associates and undergraduate student technicians.

Objectives:

• To facilitate biomedical research projects on campus.
• To strengthen and increase the research productivity of faculty.
• To provide a strong research environment to complement the existing MARC U*STAR and MIRT programs.
