Tuition

Tuition for the PhD program is $1,125.00 per credit hour.

School Of Social Work Discounts

Tuition is discounted by 10% for non-alum applicants working 24 hours per week or more in social work/human services, health services, education, or other allied professional settings.

Barry University Discounts

Barry Family Discount

A 15% discount per semester for financially dependent immediate family members enrolled full-time in a graduate degree program and studying simultaneously. The discount is applied to the tuition for both students.

The Barry Legacy Discount

A 10% tuition discount is offered to immediate family members of Barry alumni or the immediate family members of current Barry students.

Barry Lifelong Learning Discount

Dr. Neta Kolasa Scholarship recognizes outstanding MSW and/or PhD students who demonstrate dedication, leadership, and professionalism in practicing the values and skills of professional social work. Awards may range up to $5,000 per academic year.

Dr. Beulah Rothman Endowment Scholarship recognizes outstanding PhD students who demonstrate exceptional commitment to leadership in the profession, social work education, and/or social work research. Because this is an endowment the award amount may vary from year to year.

Assistantships

The University’s Office of Financial Aid is the primary source for financial aid information. Applicants should consult a financial aid counselor for eligibility for student loans and other financial aid. Applicants are also encouraged to research online guidelines for “Loan Forgiveness.”
